Wow! Is Google ever complicated?

Wow, is Google ever complicated. I've spent days now trying to figure out how to split myself into 3 or 4 unique identities for the purpose of boosting my Facebook friends count. Doesn't everybody do that?

Anyway, I finally figured out that as long as I give up on ever getting my favorite email names and every password I could hope to remember, then I could set up a couple accounts. Unfortunately the new accounts were still somehow linked with each other behind the scenes, no matter what I did.

Did I mention that getting to talk to a person at Google is easy?  It is...if you already have an account number. How do you get one of those?  Well it's simple if you spend a bunch of money on advertising on the internet...but that's a pricey way to get a few new friends, right?

So if you need help understanding the unreal world of Google, you can get it. You just have to persevere...I now have a contact who will reply to me...the day after next. I understand since they have spend a lot of time learning how to navigate their own products...of which there are many. So many products in fact that if you ask the wrong question, your rep will very nicely pass you along to another expert in that specific area, who will contact you...the day after next.

Look...Google is amazing, their products are great, and their penetration into our lives almost cannot be over estimated...(can you say Google Earth?). I just wish that their many tentacles made more sense to a guy like me, who just wants a few more Facebook friends.
